View Full Version : Mini Pettalk Meeting Held In California

A Mini PetTalk meeting was held in San Diego, California today. At the meeting was Karen, Paul, Jackie, Don, Miss Daisy and Perry.
Perry and Miss Daisy were introduced to Karen and Paul and did their tricks for them. We all went out to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant and had a wonderful time talking about Karen and Paul's trip to China etc. etc. Miss Daisy was a little shy, but made friends with them and Perry stepped up to the plate and was glad to take treats from them. We had a wonderful time.

I don't know why this one came out in black and white, not a very good picture taker, I think Karen got better pictures. LOL

Wow! It sounds like all of you had lots of fun!!! Great pictures! I wish I could've gone!:) ;)

When Andrew and I went up to see Logan and her clan, we had lunch at a Mexican resturant too. Hmmm....

Oh look, Perry and Daisy even shared their couch with Karen and Paul. How nice. And just in case Chicago area is ever on the itinerary, K & P, I have a couple of doggers here who will gladly do the same thing. Should we start brushing up on our tricks? ;)

We will post pictures when we get back home, the doggies were very protective at first, but when they realized that Jackie and Don thought we were okay - and after Jackie gave me treats to bribe them with ... all was well! :)

It was fun meeting the humans and the dogs we have gotten to know so well on Pet Talk!

When we're home, we will have pictures and stories to tell!

Glad you all got to meet up. It does seem weird to see Karen & Paul sitting on the well known "White couch" & esp. with the pups!

Jackie, those are great pictures, but surprised no one at the restaurant offered to take pictures of all of you. I've taken pictures three or four times. Of course, have no idea how good they were!

thats' great!!!! it looks as if perry and miss daisy warmed up pretty well....
and it looks like there health is good!!!!

I must admit that last night (or early Thursday am like 4:am) I got up half awake and needed some medication for my back so sat at the computer. Then I clicked on this thread - and I was going up & down on the side bar in my restless state - when I noticed Karen & paul pic sitting on Jackies couch. Boy that gave me a weird feeling! I thought "what is going on ? I must be dreaming! Its kind of like seeing something out of place and you know its not the norm - but what is it............Of course once I read the thread I understood. LOL:confused: :confused:

Hearing about this mini-meeting warmed my heart! Having Karen and Paul show up at your front door would be like have the PRIZE PATROL arrive.

It seems so perfect that the people that set up this forum and then allowed us to get to know Jackie, Don, Daisy and Perry should get together.

Yup, I am jealous too!

Karen and Paul are warm, caring, knowledgeable people. I sort of think it is their goal to maybe meet as many PetTalk people as they can on their travels, so don't give up hope, one day they may be standing on your doorstep and you will have the fun of spending time with them too. They said that Miss Bunny was being taken care of, but may be a little tiffed because they were gone. lol

If they'd like to bring Miz Bunny with them on a visit to us, I'm sure Killi and Shi would be very hospitable. (Remember the rabbit in the fence adventure??? :) )

Hey that looks like fun! I wanna meet somebody on Pet talk! lol. :) Nice pics!

Daisy and Perry are just being schnauzers.....that's what they do lol....Reggie isn't too friendly at first either. :)
