Awww your rats are indeed adorable,

I really wanted a rat but there life span is so short 2 to 3 years.

BUT there still very smart and amazing creatures, love em! :D

Their life spans are short but they are still the most amazing and love filled creatures in the world. The pain of when they leave is horrible but it is so worth every happy memory with them. I haven't lost a rat yet so I am treasuring every moment with my girls.

Your ratties are VERY cute though!! They look like twins!!

That duo of yours is just overly adorable! I wish I could get some good pictures of my ratties cuddling together. As soon as they hear me get within a few feet from the cage they jump up and beg for treats. They know me too well, I almost always give in. :D

I agree completely with the post above this. I've lost a few rats(3 that had been in the family for awhile and 2 that died within a few weeks of purchase due to an illness) and I must say that eventhough their lifespans are a bit on the short side, the time spend with them makes it all worth it! My Sidders died long before his time due to a neurological issue, but I never regret having him in my life. =)

To tell you guys the truth I was about to buy an african soft furred rat yesterday lol, They looked like hampster/mice hybrids but there not lol. I was about to buy one but then I forgot I have a few rescues still so when there gone I just might go back and buy one or 2. I never held a rat in my life and after cuddling with them I'm crazy over these guys, they cost more than a fancy rat at $29.79 from Pj's but there soo cute. :D
