Steve, at 7 months old is now officially the same size as Gigi, who is 2 years old. He's *poofier* than Gigi for sure, but he is finally filling out around the upper half of his body and around his neck/face. I wonder how large he's going to be?

And here's Steve, continuing to assist Rob with the renos. Rob was leveling the cabinets and Steve was there to make sure he did it right the first time. We also have to be careful, because Steve blends in very nicely with the new floor. Besides blending, he likes to sprawl across the floor using the entire length of his body. Can you tell we've almost stepped on him a couple of times?? ;)

The two cats have been here for two months now. But one weekend, I found them sleeping together! :eek: That day, Gigi was so tired I don't think she cared who was sleeping with her. But, they stayed like this for 5 hours, and Steve had his arm around her! I think it's going to be a love/hate relationship for the next while until Steve grows out of his kitten ways.

Great pictures.:) Steve is going to be a big boy. Storm is my largest cat and he's 14lbs but he's a very long cat and it took him several years to fill out. As others have already said, the last picture is priceless and I hope to see more like this one too.:)

Unfortunately, I don't think that will happen often. It's only happened that one time in the last two months. Maybe when Steve calms down a bit more Gigi won't be so wary of him.

We're also dealing with some aggressive play sessions. I usually break it up when I hear Steve scream. But both cats chase each other and the rest of the time they're really docile with one another. They eat beside each other no problem sleep near each other . Not sure why Gigi gets too aggressive sometimes, but if she's distracted (ie - clap of hands) she walks away. It usually happens once in the morning and once in the evening.

I also found pee stains twice in the last month. :confused: Not sure who did it or why. I've always seen both cats use the litterbox for both pee/poop so I'll be taking them to the vets.

The fun and games of owing two cats.....and the mystery continues...

It sounds like Tigris and Filou to me. When they were young you could find them with their arms around each other but after that the play-to-serious fighting became predominant. Now in their old age a little more friendliness comes up now and then :rolleyes:

Steve is so adorable when he helps Rob- it's just a thing for father and son together. And I think that Gigi is a beauty- and just a tiny little bit greedy;) That look reminds me of Randy_K's Peaches when she says "Shrimp!!!!!" :D

I think Steve might actually be a bit bigger than Gigi, because he looks more muscled and his face is larger and more filled out that hers in the pictures that they are in together.
Maybe it's just me, though.
But he is going to be one BIIIG cat!!
