Hammy spot REALLY NEED HELP!!

Ok, I must seem like a really bad owner as my brothers guinea pig is like depressed and now this. I went on holiday and a friend looked aftre my hamster. Anyway, when i came back i collected Timmy and i noticed on his on his back right foot a little sore was appearing. Well it wasnt a sore a such but the skin there was a little darker than usual, afterwards i monitored it for a few days and then it started to develop into a lump and now it is sort or blackie red. I will post pictures. Can anyone tell me what is?

Hmmm, sounds like bumblefoot to me. Although I don't know very much about it, I know it's an infection on the foot that is red and sore and is caused by living on wire floors or having to constantly walk on a dirty environment, like a very unclean cage. Hope your hammy gets better! Sorry I can't help much, but maybe there are some people on here that can give you more info.

There is no need to worry anymore because we went to the vets and she said it was a blood blister! Eww. She said it may pop but there is nothing to worry about! :)
