I'm very impressed and delighted by your life-long profession--purrhaps you could be my mentor, as I've always wanted to learn how to purr. Purr Therapist. Wouldn't that be impressive on a resume? I wonder which category that would fit under... "education," "foreign language," "special skills," or maybe "awards received." Hmm, I shall have to consult my friend and purrsonal career counselor on this one. ;)

I know I've seen this beautiful cat on the pages of pettalk before. It is so nice to see a lovely tux cat that has been with her family for so long (she doesn't look 16!). Congratulations Grasshopper! I too recognized your sweet face. I had no idea though that you were a "well seasoned" kitty - as tuxluvr & Ritzy call it. :) As you probably know, Tubby is also 16 and a tuxedo wannabe with his little spot of white on his chest and tummy. ;) :D

I loved your story about how you found your mom and finally agreed on your dad. Good choice on the dad as he will probably be feeling good because it's his birthday too and will give you even more extra treats on your birthday!

Whew - 5 days with no computer was a real enlightening experience!! Grasshopper and Dadcat thanked all of you for the greetings - they had a fun day together, and when I got home, he was under the El Camino ('65 - almost done with the rebuild!!) and she was waiting meowrily at the door, for her tuna treat! He tells me they napped, did some massage (I think she got the better end of that deal!) and some treat munching together before he went downstairs to work on his El Camino. A good time was had by all, I sat with her and watched the tube while she got a good grroming, then we curled up and slept. What better day for a Tuxy Lady???
Thanks for all the posts - I did check 'em at work, and snuck in a quickie post under my temporary A.K.A. (kobear), and now to rebuild all I lost when the hard dive, I mean drive, crashed. Fortunately, I know most of my bookmarks, and guess what willbe the first Picture I save?!?! HEHEHE
