My only concern is that it says "Sassy" on it. Otherwise I don't care about colors. I might not use it right away because I want to use this one for a bit longer, but I just want to have a siggy lined up.

Hey, everyone. I am getting a laptop either tomorrow or thursday so i can work on siggies mobile so if you want me to make you a siggie just give me a post or pm. I can make great siggies because i have Corel Draw 7 i just went fast on mine.

I used corel draw for 7 years for my work. I was a laser engraving technician. I used from corel 5 to corel 11. If you know the program well you can do a lot with it. I made a wine list and new menus for the restaurant I used to hostess for. They looked quite nice and also quite professional. Then I decided to try photoshop and after only a short time I preferred photoshop 10 fold. You can do so much more with it. I don't think I could go back to using Corel Draw or even PSP. It takes a little getting used to but it amazing for graphics. If you want to give it a try you can download a trial version from adobe.com.

When you get all set up with your new laptop I will give you a few pics to play around with. Maybe some of Bella & her babies. :)

I use Jasc Animation shop but it can be done in Photoshop as well. I just haven't bothered to read the book as to how. I have the ebook for photoshop CS2.

No need to bump it up. I would have replied anyway. I have checked around today but have not found the cd yet. Not sure where it is cause we have so many. It could even be in a box downstairs with stuff we didn't need. If and/or when I find it I will let you know. I promise. I will get hubby to have a look when he gets a free day. Thanks, Bri! I used dotted line brushes over pinky-orange polka dots. I duplicated the entire signature and then set the duplicated signature blending mode to overlay. :D

it takes A LOT of practice to become really good. like for me i couldn't even do what i do now i did bad when i first joined here and made siggys like two years ago or more. and i stopped and i just started again today so it just takes practice.

Reggie you cannot expect the first siggies you make with a complicated program like photoshop that you don't know to be perfect. It has taken me a long time to get to where I am now. And still sometimes I have trouble with some pictures. You need to practice, practice and practice some more. Cropping is not easy but there is a trick I used to use when I was first cropping things. Because my edges were bad. I used to use the blur tool to soften the edged so the roughness wasn't evident and it didn't look bad. It would work quite well in most cases. Also maybe try practicing cropping on simple things to get the hang of it first. If you want to see some of the first siggies I did just PM me and I will show them too you.

It depends on what version of photoshop you're using. CS3 has it built in but everything else comes with Imageready ^_^

I hate to ask anyone this, but I've been trying for a few days now to make the graphic I am about to request, and by looking at my avatar. I pretty much failed. I just can't get the star to keep fading in and out.

I was wondering if someone could make me up a little dancing icon. still would be fine, but moving would be awesome. It's to commemorate King. He so reminded me of Snoopy. Happy and dancing. I've had this in my head for months now and am horrible at doing computer drawings.

Here's a quick sketch i did for reference for aprox. size and location of body parts... though i'd want it (the canine, not the graphic) to be a bit taller. Ummm... yeah it'll be the attachment. (Edit: after i posted it i seen it is a tad larger than what i'd want.)

I found where i sort of got the movement idea from. http://celebswap.com/pics/style_emoticons/default/BadgerDancing.gif I'd also want it about that size. I want it more pixilated though like the smilies. (I love pixels and outlines.) I'd also want the movement to be slower like http://www.iconburst.com/the-icons/silly/silly1.gif To really get in the mood for this i suggest looking up images of Snoopy dancing. King embodied love and happiness. (and looked a lot like a wolf. That's why I'd want this to look like a little black wolf.)

I know this is asking a lot so i'll understand if no one wants to do it.

Know what you mean about paper... paper and pencil are my tools of choice. I really didn't do ANY art on the computer until earlier this spring when i did a confidence building drawing for a fan art genre. The bug bit and i was addicted. MS Paint isn't the easiest to use, but it can be fun if you let it be.
