Hi all. Tonight while I was at work Molly split a nail. Apparently she caught it on fuzz or something and it just split apart. Right now there's fur pinched between it. But what are we supposed to do about this??

There's not much that can be done when nails become damaged.
I'd clip it as short as possible to make sure it doesn’t snag on something.
See if you could get (and keep) a sock on, to keep her from licking it and irritating it.
Eventually it will grow out.

I know humans who use super glue on their own nails "for strength." I'd take a whack at gluing the parts together and see what happens.

Well, this is how she split it:

She's going to the vet at 4:00 today. Splits like this are the ones that can cause infections.

Sorry, my bad.
I thought you were asking for suggestions on what to do with her nail.

Ouch, Harlee did that a while back, and I was unaware of it...until she started limping and an infection had already started...so she got put on antibiotics and it was no time before she was walking on it again.
