I got my new hamster two days ago! I think he's a boy. He's is a dwarf hamster who is black with an even blacker stripe down his back, white feet, and a little white blaze on his back to the right of his stripe. He's SO cute! I've named him "Jack Black". (No pun intended.) Hahaha. Jack's only a month old and he was the youngest one in the store. I think the older dwarves were picking on him because there are scabs under his fur around his back end. Poor thing. I felt so bad the other day. I pulled off what I thought was some poo stuck to his fur below his rectum, but it was a scab. But I felt even more horrible because I went to pick him up to give him some love and he bite incredibly hard (drew blood) and he hung on to my thumb, he then let go and dropped on the counter top. I was crying and still feel bad about it. But he's better than ever now. ~meg~
