Do you like Christmas songs?

I know several people who don't. I love them! Christmas is my favorite time of year and I love all the songs. How about you?

I really enjoy them. We have one radio station which goes 24 hours of holiday music starting in late November, and I switch the radio to that for the entire time (35 days, maybe?) All the current music sounds better once I return that station, too!

Plus I have 5 or 6 Christmas CDs, they get set up in the player for times I don't want to listen to commercials. I really don't listen to any other music for the season! And sure, I have several favorites and one or two I really think are nuts, but that's OK too.

There are some lovely Winter songs, I wish they were played right through end of February.

I enjoy most any Christmas song. I don't like when they start playing them at Halloween time. :rolleyes:

My favorite Holiday Time music is Trans Siberian Orchestra. In fact, I need to put my CD's in my car for the season. :)

I like the traditional, pretty Christmas songs ... What Child Is This? Silent Night ... but I DESPISE the modern stupid ones. And I swear, if I have to hear Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" one more time, someone will die a brutal death. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Bruce, but give it rest already.

I love them, all of them! My choir director asked us to each list our favorite carol on the chalkboard - I only put three of my favorites so everyone else would have chance!

I LOVE Christmas music!! ALL types!
Right now I have 2 Christmas CD's in my cd changer in my car they are:

John Denver and the Muppets Christmas and Frank Sinantra

I enjoy them too, I have a CD mix I made from three of their CDs with all my favorites on it. I also enjoy Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas albums. I can listen to the instrumental arrangements for long periods but sung Christmas carols it depends on the arrangement and voices, and in limited amounts.

Yes, I try to treat myself to a new Christmas CD every year or so. In fact sometimes I get them out & play them in the middle of summer, they sound so fresh then - cheers me up!

Oh yes, some Christmas songs I really love, but I tend to find the more jingly/catchy ones really annoying after a while :p

i borrowed the the three tenors christmas album. oh. my. goodness. i got goosebumps and moist eyes listening to their versions of oh holy night and amazing grace. i'm not really a classical music fan (i don't know much classical music :eek: ) but power and skill of those voices!
now if i never again hear jingle bell rock, life will be better.
