This is our first time ever dealing with this but seems to be going well. Can anyone tell me the process of what happens after the birth of the babies? She started to deliver this morning at around 0600 and we got 4, 2 white and 2 brown.

This is something you should have learned about before hand don't you think??

It would be good to give more details. Is this the family dog? How old are you? Do you have a vet close by? I think you may have spelled the dog breed incorrectly?

I am sure you will have some good suggestions from the folks here.

My advice would be to have a vet near by and ready to call if you see there are problems. The mom dog and puppies should see a vet for checkups and shots early on.

Hey, you need to have done all this questioning before the mom dog had her puppies!

Good luck.

We were told that Katrina was fixed when we got her; she was free when we got her so we didn't really think that this would have happen. So anyways we love our too toy's very much and I just wanted to know what to expect with the new babies like, things we should do and not do, food, etc.... etc..... I haven't found anything too helpful in the internet neither.

No disrespect, I know many of you people are hard core animal lovers and that’s fine, but I didn't come on here to get bashed because my knowledge is limited, I'm here because I care about my toy's and the babies. There really special to us and I just want to make sure we do the right thing. And I do not plan on breeding her again, going to get him and her fixed soon. Oh ya I’m 33.

Awwwww...How sweet!! Sorry that the person lied to you about her being fixed. I wish I could give you some info, but I have never dealt with newborns before, so i have no idea what you should expect. But there are plenty of people here who do know what to do. Hopefully they can answer your questions! Good luck!:)
