Abby, my shy little girl, must LOVE turkey because she actually braved all the strangers who came to our home for Thanksgiving dinner to ask for it. You have to understand what am amazing event that was: she won't come out while any strangers are here and often refuses to come out for a few hours afterwards. I was stunned to see her come down the steps and slink around meowing for turkey. Of course she got some :p

I thought my dad's eyes were gonna pop out of his head as I tore pieces off my turkey to feed her on the floor next to me :o

Chester always insists on a bite of turkey but he is an attention hog and loves crowds. More hands to pet him. I always gave him a piece for Thanksgiving and hope Rie gave him some~!

Abby must really love it to come out is she is so shy. I hope you fed her all she could eat!

Michael When He Was A Little One, Sort Of Lost A Furr Ever Home When He Climbed Onto A Table And Helped Himself To The Gravy Bowl Much To The Amusement Of The Guests.
They Told Him To Stop, So He Did What A Cat Would Do In That Situation, He Lowered His Head And Started Drinking As Fast As He Could.
Smoke The Big Mean Cat Got Int The Neighbors House And Stole Thier Drumstick, And I Had To Wait Until She Was Finished Before She Would Leave The Premisese!!!
Elly Mae Christine , I Hear Is So Sweet And Polite That She Gets Her Own Little Dish In The Corner!!! I Love Hearing That About An Ex Porch Cat.
I Had A Nice Steak Last Night, Half Price Of Course And It Was A Big One About 20 Ounces, So Everyone Got A Nice Piece, And The Porch Cats Had Some Too. We All Share And Share Alike!!!

Hi Abby, It sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving and I'm so happy to hear you went to the table for dinner. Turkey tastes sooo good, doesn't it? Especially with a bit of that tasty turkey gravy. My Meowmie always gives me a nice piece of white meat turkey with a bit of gravy as a special treat and I love it. But just one time, I hope she'll give me some pumpkin pie too!

Happy Holidays!
Your friend,
Groucho

There is nothing quite like the smell of turkey roasting; if our feline friends noses are more attuned to that aroma, then it stands to reason that if it smells good, it must taste better!

Hunger will do strange things to animals and people!

Go, Abby!

Puddy worked herself up into a froth by the time the turkey came out of the oven. She paced back and forth, meowing the entire time, so, of course, I gave her and all the fur posse a big plate of white meat moistened w/a little bit of broth. The tryptophan must have taken effect because I didn't hear from any of them for the rest of the night. So Abby isn't alone but your turkey must have smelled pretty yummy for her to venture out amongst the strangers. :)
