Here is the only picture I have taken with my new digital camera. I think it is a beautiful shot of Cassie. It shows the love in her face.

I love it! Look at that little smooshed-in face! Pugs have always been one of my favorite breeds and Cassie is a perfect one! She is adorable.

Thanks everyone. I so much liked the picture of my little lovebug. Seeing that beautiful face makes me so grateful that I adopted her out of that very unhappy life she had. She is truly a gem and I love her so much. Sandra, since Cassie was attacked by that a-typical labbie, she has gotten so much more silver in the face. Her face had so much more black in it. It really put alot of stress on her both physically and mentally. She is still afraid of other dogs :(
And I got the FugiFilm Fine Pix 1300. I liked what KayAnn's pictures looked like so much that I wanted nothing but the FugiFilm. Before my birthday my husband actually bought me a really nice (and rather expensive) Sony (he un-surprised me) and I told him that I didn't want the Sony, so he took it back and got this one. I am happy with the quality and it was so much cheaper then the Sony. It was only $200. I'll take more pictures eventually. Hopefully tonight at my shows I'll get some more posted.

Leslie, I don't see how I could go wrong with that Fuji Fine Pix 1300. I looked three different places today, but only could find the 2300 version, which is about $100 more. KayAnn had told me what she got...now that's two votes for the Fuji. Is the uploading to the computer cumbersome or difficult? Spencer the Lion, chuck, from the Cat Board suggested I get the Sony that uses a disk instead.
Such confusion!!! But I Love Cassie's picture!!! :D
Leslie - Cassie has beautiful eyes. She is just stunning. Thanks for posting such a lovely pic for us to see :)
Logan - I have the Fuji FinePix 2300. I got it on Ebay for only $200.. or a little over $200 but not much.. maybe $220. But the uploading to computer is really easy and the pictures turn out great.

Those little ears look so velvety soft. I could just kiss them as well as plant one smack in the middle of her little smashy face. Oh, she is just too dear for words.

My Kodak uses compact flash cards. You can use a USB port to connect the camera to PC and upload through that. Another method is to use a card reader where you remove the flash card from the camera and slide it into the reader. I HIGHLY recommend the reader method. (I learned the hard way)

Thanks for posting the pic of Cassie. She and Bandit have the same coloring. I am so happy she recovered physically from the attack. Poor baby, I hope she learns to trust other dogs again :( I've convinced a co-worker to get a Pug. I have taken Bandit to work with me on several occasions. He got to meet him was thought he was adorable. His wife will retire from teaching after this school year and wanted a companion dog. He was asking so many questions about Pugs. Of course I raved about Bandit. He took his wife to a dog show this weekend in Biloxi and they met a very reputable breeder who was showing his Pugs and my friend's wife fell in love. They should have their bundle of joy in October.
Pam, if I had talked to your husband I think I could have convinced him too :D Bella is a doll and I know you can't imagine life without her :)
Genia I know there will be a pug in my future. I have already told Bella that when the time comes for her to have a "buddy" it will have a smashie face! :D :D The other day I was driving down my street and a woman I didn't know was walking a pug puppy. I almost drove into a tree. I couldn't take my eyes off that sweetie. These pug cravings will just not die!! :D :D
