Sometimes in the morning I put Taz out of the room and close the door because he drives me nuts wanting me to feed him, but it's too early.
Last Thursday I kicked (not literally of course) him out of the bedroom and then when I went to leave the room he must not have heard me coming and I hit him with the door. (:(I'm a bad mommy) Later I noticed him limping pretty bad. Within the next couple days he was fine....no limping. But now I am noticing him limping (on the same leg) off and on, usually after he's been laying down for a while. He still has his spastic moments, like just now, he was limping, this is what prompted me to make this thread. While I am typing he just ran like a crazy cat down the hall.
At first I thought maybe I bruised him by hitting him with the door. But now I'm thinking maybe it's arthritis. He is 12 years old. Can a vet diagnose arthritis? Or would it just be a guess on their part? And if it is arthritis, there's nothing I can do about it, right? I mean, it's only bothering him occasionally and it's not hampering his life....yet.
Any advice will be appreciated.
