As someone who is "owned" by a Siamese, I can tell you that while they are fierce protectors of their "people" and their home, they are also the most loving cats to the special people in their lives, and Muffie is no exception. Thank you for rescuing her, and enjoy a long, happy life together.

ACTUALLY MUFFIES STORY REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF MY POUNCER AS SHE WAS THE RUNT AND THE ONLY ONE IN THE CAGEWHEN I TOOK HER HOME.
AND SHE WAS A SIAMESE MIX TOO, AND SUPPOSEDLY WILD.
WE ARE SO PLAEASED THAT MUFFIE WAS SO FRIENDLY WHEN YOU REACHED INTO HER CAGE, MAYBE SHE WAS WAITING FOR JUST THE RIGHT LOVING GUARDIANS TO COME ALONG AND GIVE HER HER FURR EVER HOME!!

Muffie was finicky, as cats are wont to do, but she knew what she was doing ;) because SHE got the best pick. :) In my own experience, I'm amazed by how cats gravitate toward friendly people and animals and steer clear of most everything else. Muffie got it right, she's in the best home for her and your family brought in a wonderful loving companion. Thanks for your inspiring story and here's to Muffie on her COTD. :D

Muffie, I have to say, that is EXACTLY how Hope Simone acted when I first met her at the shelter!!! I took her out of the cage and she promptly fell asleep on my arm for one hour!!! You cats are pretty smart and sure know how to win hearts!!!! HAPPY COTD!!!
