I am sure I read recently that slaughtering lots of badgers would not make a difference to the number of cows with TB  Why do humans always think death is the answer??

Oh, I love this quote by Farmer Peter Ganblett:

' The problem we are up against is everyone has the image of lovely, fluffy badgers galloping about, but cows are also entitled to lives '

Oh, so you won't be sending your stock off to slaughter as soon as possible, then?

Culling doesn't work unless you wipe out the entire species, as infected badgers will still be reproducing and still apparently passing on their pathogens to cattle. And I don't suppose anyone in their right mind is going to be prepared to exterminate our badger from the UK.

That sucks.

I love badgers, Has anyone seen the drawing that Roger Dean did of a couple of badgers in the snow?
