Geesh! I so wish I could go!!!! If I had known about this sooner Tori and I might have taken off for a super long drive for the weekend. Are you going, Pat? Shame on you for not posting this sooner!

:( Sorry, Robin. Freedom (Sandi) just sent me a pm about this a couple days ago & I e-mailed the organizer. Thought there might be a few Easterners out & about, but right off hand, I don't know of anyone from PT. I told her I would post it, just in case.
To be honest, I'm not sure how this is going to go. It looks like a member of a husky "play group" is trying to organize something bigger. If the weather is good, we'll go. But it's 1 1/2 hr. drive each way for us, so if its crummy out, we'll just hunker down.
This would be a long drive for you - it took me 15 hrs. to travel with dogs. (should be more like a 11 hr. drive without)...but you are welcome anytime! :D

Oh good, so I guess I should keep forwarding things to you! He he. I thought that would be of interest! My bichons would be "appetizers," so I won't get up that way. Enjoy!
Ah, the link won't work for me!!!

:( Looks like we are *cancelling*, I can't even see the end of the street! Looked like maybe it was gonna clear a bit - for about 15 minutes - then the drizzle returned & the foghorns started up again. Talked to the Mayor, we agreed it's just not a nice day to spend 3 hrs in a car just to let the dogs get wet. (They don't even want to go out this morning, LOL!))
I tried to find out if there was at least a shelter house, but the person running the show didn't know either, cause someone else picked the location.... and she understands our not wanting to drive out.
Ahhh, for the good old days in Findlay.... ;)
Phred, we're gonna have to get us some foul weather gear for sailing - covers you top to bottom!

Yeah, we've been "called on account of rain." Dunno if the event is happening anyway, as if I look at my "hourly details" for the forecast, it stays "Rain" every hour until 4 p.m., then changes to "Light Rain" for the rest of the day. Not a good day for a pic-a-nic.

OK OK Phred, :)
I've just been really bad about posting pics- go to General- I just started a thread! We rent the sailboat from the NAPS, very reasonable for employees!
JoJoe got certified this summer for sailboats. There are called Rhodes. We also sailed once on a Shields, with another guy. It's much bigger & used for racing, what a ride! i'll work on posting those pics...
