Sorry to start another thread - but I wanted to post updates and can't hack into critters' post!

Had another email from her today - I had asked what county she was in, and she said Orange - but the shelter is low-kill, not no-kill.

I found a new shelter, Rilkki's Refuge, which just had its grand opening yesterday - and the Animal Assistance League of Orange County. I sent her all the contact stuff.

Read on below...I don't know if Queenscoopalot might set up donations, but this lady is too honest for her own good. She had to pay another $300 deposit on this cat, and she is on Social Assistance.

Just FYI - the kitty is good, but needs neutering.

************************************************** *******

Orange County BUT they are low kill nooooooooo no kill
and Had to beg per say to 22 yr. old power trip manager, had to pay $300 more for one more cat ANNNNNNNND she doesn't know it's this particular one. OH GOD .....will hit the fan when she finds out.
God Bless allllllllllllllllllllll of you and your great concern.............he's been to the Dr. and all is well.........got antibiotics but otherwise ok........he's now happy with someone to love him (ME) after all of this hassle with many things I didn't even bother to write about......
I took him to Dr. Naito at Huntington Pet Vet, been going there for 9 yrs. and she truly cares. Can't believe the response I have gotten to help.. It shows there really are some good people left out there. Remainder of his bill is $86 for blood work (which is negative) yippeeee antibiotic......office visit and Advantage. I put $40 on it, on Soc.Sec. is tough and I have 3 other critters. He has to be fixed, was told OCSPCA gives vouchers for that but it won't cover all of it. OH WELL........I'm so glad he's happy, catching up on tons of

critters

Of course you could've put that in "my" post! :)

Rikki's Refuge is in Orange, VA, though. Glad she's keeping him!!
