Dog dosen't eat food!

Hi! i have a problem with my 4 month old puppy. We used to give her some human food, but then we stopped. Now, she dosen't eat her own dog food! Please help! :confused: :rolleyes:

A healthy dog won't starve itself.

If you keep at it and stay firm, the pup will eat dog food. If you keep giving in and letting the pup get human food because she's not eating, you're telling her that she's in charge. Don't give in to her.

Yes, human food isn't good for her so you shouldn't have been giving it to her instead of dog food anyway.

As with children, things will only work if you start as you mean to go on.

She'll just have to go without until she decides that dog food is good enough again. No more human food because this will maintain her attitude to turn her nose up at dog food.

As said above, she will not starve herself. Dogs can go many days without food and it not cause damage. It's what they were built for and would have to do in the wild.

We have a chihuahua and feed it the Science Diet for puppies. They have a new one called "Natural" and he loves it.
