Io passed away after multiple surgeries to fix his eyes. He had issues besides his eyes and was much loved.

He adored kittens and was a totally mellow boy. I will miss him every day of my life but I know he is sighted and happy at the Bridge.

I'm so sorry to hear about Io but he can see perfectly now and is able to enjoy playing and snoozing w/kittens at the bridge. RIP, sweet Io.

I am truly so sorry for your loss, Kym. You KNOW he had a better life and chance at your house than anywhere else - but the heart overrules the brain here, and rightly so.

I don't know what his other issues were, but I hope he did go while "under", and I have no doubt he is running at the Bridge and looking down upon you and Jas with loving eyes.

Io Is In Tuscon With The Pet Angel Army Now, Surrounded By Kittens In The Outdoor Patio Of El Paseo, Having Nachos , Wings And Chicken And Sharing His Meal With The All.

Candace he died in our arms and not under..........

He was thrown from a car at 6 weeks old and had some nerve damage besides his eye issues, he literally went to sleep after a sucessful surgery and just stopped purring.

He will and is missed, I know he is thrilled with Lex joining as he used to sit on my lap while I while talked to breeders and rescues, to be honest I think he brought her here.

Thank you Candace and everyone else. he was loved and I think he knew that. I truly think that is why he chose to pass here at home as oppossed to at the "whitecoats".


I took us more than 24 hours before we buried him, and I must be honest If it had been up to me he wouldn't have been. He is happy and safe now and now I have LES.
