Vista

Ok, as most of you know i will be getting $500 at the end of this month. I have alreadt designed an new computer for myself since my old, duck taped together HP Pavilion xt973 is just not good enough. I will be getting the computer from HP, the cheapest desktop they have, customised to fit my needs by myself. My question is, is Vista an good OS for an computer? I wanted to ask thsi because i wanted some hands - on reviews by people that actually own it.

I have had vista for a couple of months. Like you I upgraded from an ancient computer. Personally I love vista. Sofar I have not had any major problems. :) I also love the way it looks. I upgraded from XP which was good but nothing spectular. I bought my computer with 1 gig of memory and my dad upgraded it to 3 gigs of memory. :cool:
