**Taccoa Needs Prayers Please**UPDATE POST 12 && 18**&& 24**

:( My Baby Taccoa is Ill & Needs Some PT Prayers & Good Vibes Please.. We just got back from the Vet.. She is running 105.9 temp.. She Sunday afternoon started sneezing & hacking.. (she is the only one too) Then today I took her in & she got a shot & will be on two diff antibodies.. The Vet had me buy a digital thermometer to take her temp twice daily also.. If temp is not down by Wed we go back for lots of blood work.. So please keep my Wittle Angel in your prayers..

Oh no! Poor Taccoa! I hope the fever goes down and you are feeling better soon. That way you don't have to go back to the white coats.

:) Update as 6:00 am Tuesday 9th Taccoa's temp is down to 103.6.. She had come out of the closet & was on the bed.. She is still sneezing some.. But is lots better.. Meowmom hand feed her some breakfast before the meds given.. She is on 11.25 {1/2 pill} once daily of Baytril && 1/2 dropper of Clindamycin twice a day.. I am so glad the fever is down some & I know we must get it lower.. At least my baby tried to smile at her meowmom this morning & I gave her all kinds of huggss & whisker kisses.. Meowmom was so so worried & upset Sunday & Yesterday.. Many many Thanks to All for the Loving Prayers & Head Bumps.. We Love you All

Helene, I'm so sorry that I missed seeing this thread.:o I'm sorry to hear that Taccoa is so sick.:( I'm glad to hear that her fever is starting to go down. Did the vet give her any sub-q fluids? This always seems to help my cats when they're real sick. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent her way. Please take care.

:) UpDate Great News Taccoa's fever has droped.. Her Temp this morning is now 102.3.. Her eyes & body are perky again.. She gave her meowmom 2 winks after breakfast this morning.. No Tracey we did not do Sub-q Fluids.. I got Taccoa there so fast that no dehydration had set in.. Taccoa's Vet gave her a shot of Baytril & sent home the pills to take once day & Clindamycin twice day.. Meowmom is so happy & releaved that all is doing very well on the homefront with everyone now.. Many Thanks for All Concerning Loving Thoughts & Prayers.. We Love You All

That's some pretty strong stuff. My Bubba was on the exact same regimen 3 years ago when he had a very severe upper respiratory infection. I'm glad your baby is feeling better!

;) Many Thanks to All.. Yes Medusa I as well keep extra Clindamycin on hand.. In fact I had already Sunday afternoon Started Taccoa on it - so I could get a head start before we could get to the Vet on Monday..

;) Woo Hoo I am so so excited = Taccoa's Temp this morning is 101.4 normal.. She is back to sitting on the coffee table (her favorite spot).. Oh no! I just saw this thread now and didn't even realize that Elmer's beloved Taccoa had been so ill.

He had been pacing around and meowing at me, and I wondered what he was so riled up about. Now I know, and I feel so bad. He knew his darling girl was not feeling well, and he couldn't do anything to help her get better. Meowmie has been asleep at the wheel, I guess.

We are so glad and relieved to hear she is doing so well now! And what a beautiful picture of her, looking as fine and healthy and happy as can be!
