Wanted to cross post here since they are doggers (although Frankie, who she rescued is a cat). I'm just at a loss about what she experienced... it's heartbreaking, and makes you wonder what happened and what was going through the mastiff's mind (wonder how poorly trained he was, or trained to fight??? I haven't gotten those answers yet)....
