Help!!

My 2 cats are 3 months old each(not siblings) Today i saw Max and Minnie having sex! I know this because they were on top of each other and Max's penis was erect. Is she able to get pregnant? She does not seem to be in heat. No one will spay here until they are 5 months old.

I do not know what age Minnie will be in heat, someone else will speak up if they know.

We had our kitten Ashton neutered at about 3 months old. Our kitten Twidgit was spayed before we adopted her at about 2 months old. Our puppy Ginger was spayed at about 4 1/2 months old.

Unfortuntely in our area i have called all the vets and spoke with the SPCA. No one will spay until 5 months.

well, if they can't spay the female (which is major surgery and why they need to wait) - can they neuter the male?

I'm no expert, but I think that if she isn't actually in heat, that she shouldn't get pregnant.

Yes, if you can fix the female right away, fix the male....you don't want them "knowing" about sex...I would think that would be a bad thing....

We got Noel at 3 months and she came fixed....you may want to talk to someone that rescues cats...they seem to be able to get them fixed early...
