Ok as everyone knows my first thread here was about my pregnant Scottish Terrier. Now i have been wanting to update for a while and decided to do so today. Please do NOT start an argument here, take it somewhere else, i am just updating here. Today Nena would be 49 days along if she is and due on or around October 14-16 we will do x rays on 9 days. She started to grow a bit more today, i see her a bit bigger and my friend does too. Remember she might NOT show at all untill the end since she will be a first time mom PLUS a small litter one or two. I will NOT be posting anymore photos untill i am sure she is pregnant. This was just a quick update. Also she did not loose belly hair either, maybe just a bit not much. Any sweet advice will be taken, mean comments or bashing will be ignored. If you are new to my thread then please read my last one to get the full scoop, thanks.

I will see if i will get her spayed is most likely i will if i ever want to breed her at the right time and with the right dog then i wont. Will see. Since this has been a learning experince for me i will have more knowledge in the future, maybe two or three years from now. If she is not pregnant not then excellent i have been caring for her as if she was.

oh I hope she's alright, it's probably best that she didn't have any after all....that way she won't have to go through all that...

I will and something HORRIBLE happend over the weekend that truly made me realize is NOT worth it. In the other forums i belong to there is a woman named Kimberly. Kim adopted a 3 year old female Boston Terrier who was bred to a Mutt and then given an abortion shot and then bred again to a reg Boston Terrier. When Kim got her the owners said she was rebred but NEVER looked pregnant other than her nipples getting bigger. Jill is the Boston's name, she never showed a belly untill last days of pregnancy which she grew a belly overnight, i mean wow her belly went from flat to looking pregnant completly. Vet did xrays on last days and she had 4 puppies. On 10/19/07 Jill went into labor in the afternoon, she had a tiny male puppy, second she had a big girl who was dead. All this time Kim trying to help her and Jill been really aggresive, Kim got bit and had to have 8 stitches on her arm. Anyways after second puppy born dead they headed for the vet. Kim updated us late night saying Jill had an emergency c section plus spay and only two puppies made it, first and third puppy. Second died at home and fourth was stuck. As Kim went home Jill tried to attack puppy number one. Kim did not know if Jill would make it because she had lost too much blood. On 10/22/07 the other two puppies passed away as well, leaving Kim with no puppies and a very sick Jill. Jill had a very high fever. Thanksfully today Jill is better, eating and drinking on her own. This story has teached me a big lesson, no matter how much you know nature can take a turn for the worse. Thanks everyone, from now on i will always use this story to prevent breeding, i dont know what i was thinking. I guess i needed to see a REAL story happen.
