Great News About Porchie Rufus, Yet Sad News Too.

The Great News Is That We Corraled Rufus The Orange Small Tabby Who Has Been A Porch Cat For The Last Year Or So. Hes All Scratched Up, As He Has Had To Fight For His Food With Two Big Tom Porchies Scratcy Jr, And Tubsterone, The Tubster Last Love Cat.
He Will Be Fine And Going To A Furr Ever Home Soon.
What Scares Me Is That He Was Limping. It Turned Out That A Pellet Was In His Right Ankle. Someone Shot Him,
And Now I Am Wondering If That S Why I Have Not Seen Pouncer Roccalno Lately.
I Am Moving The Food Dishes To The Side Again And Jenn The Libraians House With It As They Are Too Easy A Target On The Back Porch.
I Am So Sad And Scared That Someone Can Be This Mean. I Wonder If Its Someone On The Street Or A Visitor.
Either Way I Am Scared For My Porchies.

Unfortunately, that happens to cats. I can't begin to tell you how many cats around here are shot w/bebes or arrows or regular bullets. It's such a shame and I hate to think that I live near people who would do such a thing to any living creature. We'll send out lots of prayers for Pouncer while we're celebrating about Rufus. Take heart, Gary, and call in your Pet Angels.

Oh Gary, there is another possibility. The porchies don't stay on your porch, or even in your yard ALL the time, they do roam.

The sad thing is that Pouncer Roccalno at least to this point iscompletely feral and wont stay in a house.
She has such a fear of people and I dont think has ever forgiven us for trapping and rescuing her and having her spayed.
I put down fresh food and water to entice her back for at least the winter!!

This is terriable news! WHY do people have to be so mean to those that can not defend themselves?

I have no doubt that God will deal with whoever it is but it is smart of you to move their food to hopefully, a safer place!

Great news about Rufus being able to get a furrever home but disgusting that it looks like somebody shot him. There has been an increase in air rifle attacks on cats in the UK according to the RSPCA, I really think people should not be able to buy these weapons, you get teenagers practicing on animals and they think it's funny cause it's only a pellet, they don't realise the damage it does.
I will pray that Pouncer Roccalno is okay and that she is just somewhere else for now and will return to the porch soon.

Great News As I Saw Pouncer Roccalno In The Jenn Libraian House!
She Ran Away Of Course But Slowly As She At Least Partially Trusts Me.
If Only I Had The Camera I Could Have A Photo To Show Jenn How Appreciated Her House Is.
And Rufus Is Fine, The Pet Angel Search And Rescue Squad Convinced Him That We Meant Him No Harm.
And Yet Another Porch Cat A Dark Tabby, Maybe Two Years Old, And Thin.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that Pouncer Roccalno is back! I was feeling so sad and worried that those dirtbags who shot Rufus had fatally shot her too.

I'm so happy that Rufus is going to a good home and that a new Porchie is going to be safe and fed now.
