Back with my kids...FINALLY!!!

After 4 amazing months in Haines Alaska I'm finally back in Georgia. My mom came to Haines and we spent 3 wonderful days touring the town and having an amazing time. My sister Abbey and Gillian (my sisters sister in law) came to meet me at the airport. They had a huge banner and made me wear this crazy hat. They also attached a balloon onto me :rolleyes: oh yes, in front of everyone! It was so embarrassing!! But that’s why I love my sister more than anything. (pictures attached, lol)
When we got to the car, guess who was waiting for me! KONNOR!! My sister had brought along my little boy, at first he was confused but then he went CRAZY he was so happy to see me. I have never seen him run around and jump like that before! God I missed him. When we got home Nova sniffed me and then went absolutely insane! She did her high pitched screamy thing, jumped all around the room and ran from room to room not allowing anyone to touch her. It's almost like she is so happy to see you that she can't stay still. LOL. They both calmed down but you can look at them and just tell how happy they are.

I of course have a few pictures. After 4 months I didn't realize just how lost I was without them by my side.

Welcome home! I know Konnor was so happy to see you. And also your family. I know you had an amazing time. I really enjoyed reading about it. When you get time, talk to me about a scrapbook page. I know you've been way too busy to think about it before now.

(What newer folks may not know is I have met her in person - okay, to put it more precisely, JenLuckenbach and I ran her down at a fair one day, yelling her name in a not exactly subtle or dignified fashion - and she admitted to being herself anyway!)
