Caeser was one of my foster cats. When he was just a kitten, he tested positive for FeLV. He is another example of the "throw away cat syndrome", where people fell that it is okay to release their cats when they become inconvenient. He mom and his litter mates all tested positive for FeLV. I lost 2 of the litter when they were very young, but three where doing well in my home. About 5 days ago, Caeser lost the use of his back legs. We tried anti-inflammatory medication and anti-biotics, but nothing worked. Finally we determined that a tumor was lodged on his spine and nothing could be done, so the decision was made to end his suffering. I miss him so much - he was one of my favorite foster cats. He was so sweet and loving and I'm was so sad to see him go.
Run free and healthy sweet boy. I'll miss you.

Clara, I am so sorry to hear this...thanks to you, his surviving siblings and mom were not thrown away, but loved for all their lives.
He sure is a pretty boy, and there is no kitty that will ever take his place.
How old was Caesar?

Poor Caesar...that is just too young! Try to find comfort that he lived longer and better with you than he might otherwise have...
Play at the Bridge, beautiful boy.

Thank you for not "throwing away" Caesar and giving him a good home for his short, but happy life. I am so, so sorry about your loss. R.I.P, sweet, sweet Caesar.

Rest peacefully, Caesar. Say hi to my BW, whom I never got to give a good home to, because of Feline HIV :( He'll show you the ropes. Your family will miss you here. Come back and visit them sometime, ok?
