Remember the stray cat I posted last week? He now has a new best friend... ME! I am calling him Hunter because he is hunting for love and a good home.. One better than the one he had that dumped him! I haven't been feeding him a week and he has been very verbal but skiddish and kept his distance until yesterday. I squatted down and called him and he came right to me and we been friends ever since.

I took down one piece of shirting to give him a safe place to go, out of the sun/weather and he seemed to know what it was for and went right in. I put a storage container in there with a old bedspread in it, a self water'er and food... all hopefully out of the eyes of the park manager (or anyone else that would report me for doing this)

Hunter is a real sweet cat and is so looking for someone he can trust and to take care of him and I just adore his markings, especially on the top of his head. He is still a very intact male so I will see what I can do to get him fixed and a foster home for him until he can find a permanent one. He is a very solid, muscular boy, extreemly sweet and handsome.
Check him out! Be sure to notice the back of his head on the second video!

awwww...what a TOTAL love bug! :) He must be like my Cole - he was dumped around the age of 8 - 9 months, when he would have started spraying.

There are some people (I read about one family on Pet Talk) that honestly DON'T know that neutering will FIX the spraying and stink problem!

What a neat zigzag on the back of his head! He is just SOOO affectionate!

I am SO glad he trusts you now, and I hope he will find a furrever home soon!

Don Juan's mom - I can't get any closer than I have been to him... I can hold him!

I already have 4 in this small house and working the way I do, I just can not have another one.. I wish I could!

I THINK THAT THE CATS WHO COME TO US AS STARYS ARE THE MOST LOVED CATS, AS I BELIEVE THAT THEY SENSE HOW MUCH YOU LOVE TEM
AND THEY ARE SO GRATEFUL TO BE LOVED AND TREATED WITH RESPECT
THAT THEY DO MAKE GREAT COMPANIONS.

Catty1...he, he, he...we got Marie another one already when she was forbidden to get another one. CHESTER! We kind of slipped him on in there PART time, then FULL time.. We dare not try that again or they will be in divorce court! Besides if she could have another one, there is a stray at her daughters house that also needs a home...

I went out and had a talk with Hunter awhile ago. Told him he had to keep a low profile around here and to STAY hidden!!! Told him do NOT let the manager see him and do NOT eat anywhere else but here!

He's very handsome.

Good luck getting finding him a forever home, or at least a foster home. He's lucky to have found you.

It's amazing how poor stray kitties instinctively know who they can go to for a full tummy and some loving attention. Hunter is a beauty and his markings are extraordinary. From the videos he seems like a real sweetie and will be some lucky person's loyal and loving companion. Good luck Hunter, may you find your loving furever home very soon!
