Christmas/Holiday Card Swap anyone??......

as some might know by now, I´m considering the idea of holding the next card swap (several reasons included), but wanted to know previously if Pters are willing to participate.

so I thought and was convinced by Karen to make this poll.... either way it´ll give me an idea if it´s a go thing and also gives you time to prepare if you intend to join.......

I´ll let this poll run and see how it goes, if it´s a green light then I should post last week of this month...

so, the question is, are you interested??

ETA: just added it´s a Christmas/Holdiday card.....

Whisk: as being under 18 you should have your parents persmission first, not just asking them , but having them talk to Karen so she knows for sure. sorry but is one of the rules

Cassies: card swap is where people sign up, let´s say 20 people, then you have to send a christmas/holiday card to each of the 20 people who signed up and in return you should get 20 cards from those people, it´s very interesting as you can get cards from all over the world...... the cards can be bought, printed or handmade whatever is best for you, they don´t have to be so elaborate just a nice thought.....

I was too new to PT last year to be involved in the card swap, the gift swap, or anything. I have been WAITING for it! I voted yes.

Yes, I'm planning on it! The cards & photos last year made my house looked like I must have 100 friends (which I do on PT! ;) ).

Thanks for volunteering to organize it, Isabelle. You did a great job last year. The only down side was that YOU didn't receive most of your cards, :( I felt really bad for you. Maybe this year we can move up the deadline for International cards & hope that by beating the big holiday mail crunch, more of them will find their way across the border?

I'd LOVE to join again, but I haven' voted yet... . I am the middle of "testing a neurostilulator". It works now, but at the end of the month they will disconnect it and start an official application,which will propably come at the beginning of December...! If I join, I will surely not be able to make my own cards; but I am sure I can find lovely cards with cats on in the shops ;) :D

well..... as time came closer I got the "inspiration" from above (if you know what I mean ;))

but I was still unsure if it may have quorum.......(attendants ;))

soooo....... even if few join and even if I don´t receive my cards because they went flying solo :p ...... I don´t mind, I love the intention and the spirit that involves the whole situation........ so let´s do it!!

I´ll be making a thread about it later this week so everyonce can start preparing......

Thanks for doing this Isabelle. I've always loved doing the Christmas Card swap. It is wonderful to get so many cards from all over and telling family and friends all about them.

Thanks for the pm's, I sent my info foward. Ity's been a very busy year for us since before summer. Now I can begin to relax, leanr how to work my new computer (my old faithful finally bit the dust) and start cheking up on everyone's furkids (or feather kids or finkids :)

Hope I was able to get my pm in in time - if not, next year I will be more tinmely. Sorry about the yping - this keyboard is really flat and I keep hitting double keys!
