Hi, I just wanted to let you know that Storm is doing very well and his 2nd holistic vet visit went well too.:) The vet felt him and he was much more relaxed than he had been before so he didn't need an accupunture treatment. He's still taking the Calm Spirit Teapills (http://www.chineseherbsdirect.com/calm-spirit-teapills-gan-mai-da-zao-wan-p-108.html?gclid=CMDMuv-_sI4CFRcIYgodR2NhfQ) 2 times a day. It took about 3 weeks before I really noticed a big improvement with his aggressiveness. He's now been on them for 1 month and he's become much mellower and tolerant of his siblings. I have noticed that Sunny and Pearl have been trying to attack him but he won't fight back like he used to.
The vet wants to see him again in 6 months and then we may wean him down to 1 pill a day. She said that eventually he may only need the pills on the weekends or a few times a week. I'm just so glad that something is finally working for his aggressive behavior and that it also doesn't make him drowsy. I've also noticed that he's been much more active and frisky lately. He really seems to be feeling much better. At times it's hard for me to believe that he's really 11 1/2 years old because he still acts like a big kitten.:) Now if only Pearl and Sunny would start being nicer towards him.
