Winkie is SO spoiled!!

I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought all kinds of veggies for Winkie. Parsnips, white turnip, sweet potato, raspberries. He hasn't touched them. I was wondering if I should cook them first (not the raspberries obviously). But I thought THEY eat them raw in the wild so why should I cook them, right??

Rats are different some prefer cooked and some dont, Mind do tend to be fussy over raw food so its mostly leftovers from what I've cooked :)

My younger rats have never been too picky when it comes to raw stuff(I suppose they've grown to like it), but my older boys much prefer things that are cooked.

Thanks for the advice. I tried feeding him raw again and he didn't touch them, so I'm gonna try nuking them for him.

My daughters rats love cucumbers, watermelon, apples, grapes, hay, parsley and well just about anything, cookies, crackers, rats eat just about anything.

Sometimes it just takes them a bit to warm up to new food.
