Butt

Fenway keeps trying to lick his butt and he keeps licking his pee pee. What do you think is up with that?

He has a vet appointment on Thursday but I wish it was sooner. I'd like to find out what is going on.

He eats, pees, poops like normal.

But something is happening with his butt.

Any clues?

maybe he has allergies or a UTI? have you given him a bath lately? because if you have he may have gotten itchy from the shampoo.

uti??..... or maybe some intestinal infection that may cause the itching and thus the licking......

He hasn't had a bath in awhile.

He is on some medicine (I have to put it in his little pee pee sack...gross) because his white blood cell count was a little high.

I am going to ask the vet about his butt on Thursday. I was just wondering if this had happened to anybody elses dog.

Could it be the Medicine that is causing this then?? I would definitely ask the vet. Poor Guy!

Maybe he needs his glands expressed?

Lacey was licking her butt, pee pee, tummy and feet. She has allergies and takes meds for it.
A summer allergy, we hope. :rolleyes:

Mousse always did that to his butt when he needed his glands expressed....talk about gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
