I was at church today - and the priest said that the whole family had gone to the Humane Society and adopted two adult cats! :)

His name is Greg, and he is NOT a 'priesty' priest.

He also said that two more were adopted when they were there...so that opens up space for some others!

I am SO relieved after the two babies who were PTS earlier this year because it was SOOO crowded... :( But the others are safe.

I am looking at moving to a new condo, where I need to have permission to have my own cats...but the local HS says if I foster, it would be moms and kittens, so manageable!

Anyway...happy endings for more kitties...

It's always really lovely to hear of adult cats being adopted. As much as babies need homes, it's always the adult ones that miss out, so that's great news.

Thats is wonderful that they adopted Adult Cats!!!
Theres nothing sadder than seeing Adult Cats who were once someones pride and joy sitting there wondering what they have done wrong and why are they not in thier homes anymore.
I know these New Arrivals will thank thier New Guardians with all the love that they have in thier grateful hearts.

And more YAY! The one girl, Diamond, who loved being an office cat but was running out of time (I am only guessing) - SHE was adopted, along with another adult! About 5 grownups were adopted.

One of the cats Greg and his wife adopted had come to the HS with kittens...and they all found homes, but not her! :( Happy beginning!

Here are the longtimers:

The ones Greg and family adopted:

Easter (the one who was a mama with kittens)

The HS here charges more for adopting a kitten than an adult. GOOD idea! :)
