These pups could care less about loud noises. All thanks to my mini vac. It is loud. And I got them in the habit of getting their meals right after I vacuum. Yup I vacuum in there 3 times a day and outside of it too. lol Now that they have been eating in teh crates though they don't get as excited. They used to all rush me. Now they just sit and watch, yawning if I had woken them up, or come and investigate. None of them are scared by loud noises at all. In fact they are very curious about any noise and will investigate every little sound. Here are some videos of me vacuuming.
