Bear your story was very touching. I am so sorry you lost your human before getting to know him, but those naps you had on his chest must have been very special for you both. I will share a little story with your person in the hopes that she might want to become a Pet Talker and come on here and talk about you some more. My brother bought my sister-in-law a little Westie several years ago. Millie was to be *her* dog. Unfortunately she developed cancer and passed away two years ago. Millie has become my brother's special gift and his wonderful little sidekick and companion, so I completely understand what your person means when she speaks about your special bond.

What a touching story your Mom writes. It's brought tears to our eyes, little man. It's almost as if someone knew you would be needed to help Mom get through her time of grief. You look so cute in your picture and we can feel the love and companionship that's shared between you and your loving Mom. Congratulations to you today for being our most deserving DOTD. Oh, many tears falling here as well, precious Bear. As has been said, I have to believe that you came into your Mommy's life when you did for a very special purpose. It's almost as though your Daddy knew you would be needed, needed to watch over her, to protect her, to bring some much needed laughter to her life. You most certainly were a special gift Bear, a gift of unconditional, everlasting love, of comfort and healing. Bless you Bear.
