I think these are near Bay County. Hopefully I'll know more soon.
I got the puppies today. Oh are they adorable. Sweet little things. BUT not only are they deaf but partially blind. Yeah?? The mom was a standard Aussie, she THINKS the dad was a minature Aussie. They are both males. Very skinny.

Awww shame, I'm sure they're double-merle pups, as mini + "standard" Aussie mix alone shouldn't cause pups to be deaf and blind, but a blue merle + blue merle cross could be a culprit... shame too... someone probably thought "hey I have two blue merles, they're so pretty, let's make all blue merle pups". :(
I wonder if they're lethal whites? They're sooo pretty, but unfortunately usually deaf, blind, or both :(

From what i could gather this was completely 100% an irresponsible back yard breeder of the worst kind. She had even been told absolutely do NOT breed these dogs.
From the pics i seen these pups are almost all white with a few blue spots.
email adopt_koli*AT*yahoo*DOT*com and the pictures can be forwarded to you. Ask about the Aussie pups. (not involved in the rescue, but can pass on any info.)

From the description it definitely sounds like double merle mixed resulting in lethal whites. Those poor, poor pups... and that STUPID IRESPONSIBLE owner!! So the parents are pretty .... you think they'll make cute pups?? Well now you have a bunch of pups that nobody will want to buy and if not adopted out will have to be put down... gosh dangit, people like this.... really.... really make me mad...
I'd love pics... but can't look... if I do I know I'll want to take one and feel guilty if I don't save one... and I absolutely can't right now with our apartment. :(

My very first Australian Shepherd was the result of two blue merle parents. One of Bobs eyes was smaller then the other & I don't think he could see that well out of it. The other eye was good but it took him awhile to adjust to seeing out of one eye. He would run into things. He also had a mostly pink nose which I had to put suntan lotion on to keep it from being burned by the sun. I talked to the owner of his parents & told her not to breed the pair again but she went right ahead & did it anyhow. She needed a good ass kicking. I hope these pups will be ok. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you if they are deaf & partially blind. It is a sad situation when people don't listen & should know better. Best wishes to you & the pups. I hope with lots of loving care you can give them a good home. :)

I'll try to pass on your wishes of love. I'm just passing on the word about these pups. I have never actually even seen them in person. Someone contacted a rescue, and that rescue contacted another rescue, and I'm on their contact list.

They are called Lethal Whites because of the human factor, not the paint horse type of Lethal White. The breeder sees the white being born and either culls the pup, or when he discovers it is deaf or blind or both, it ends up in a shelter where it is generally put down. They don't have resources for hearing and sighted dogs, so they cannot 'rescue' them..
That's where we step in. We humans.
THANK YOU!
We can help you socialize, deal with health issues, understand the mind of the deafblind aussie pup, and if you wish to foster them and get them ready for adoption, we can help you there as well.
We are Lethal White Aussie Rescue-Carolinas. We have over 120 members at our yahoo group:
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/LethalWhiteAussieRescue/
and our NEW improved INTERACTIVE RESCUE BOARD!
I am very excited to be able to finally follow a pup from finding to its disposition.http://www.s8.createphpbb.com/lethalwhiteauss/
There is sooo much information posted on this board, that you can find answers to almost anything.
I have AllicksBlindPup, GabrielDeafBlindPup and now fostering PossumDeafBlind who has severe CCD issues. She is a challenge because she has health issues as well and very little human contact in her year and a half.
My Lethals have written their own website, with the help of their HANDS:
www.MagicalWorldOfLethalWhites.freeservers.com
Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Thank you for your post. I'll try to pass on the info. I have no idea who it is that has the pups. I STILL have not heard back from the person who emailed me about them.

apparently they already know about it. I searched on petfinder and found that the pups ARE now listed.
FSFH are looking for donations to transport these pups to the rescue in NC.
