And, for the puzzle, here are the rules (Please pay attention to Rule #9):

1. You may only guess one letter at a time.
2. After you have guessed a letter, you must wait for another player to guess a letter before you can go again.
3. The host of the game responding to a guess does not count as a turn. Should you choose a letter, then receive a response from the member host, you must wait for the next member to guess a letter.
4. One point will be awarded for each correct letter, 2 points for vowels.
5. Only six misses are allowed in the game.
6. If you wish to guess the phrase, send it to me via Pet Talk personal email.[This is accessible via the 'PM' or 'Profile' buttons on any of my posts.] DO NOT post it on the forum. If you wish to guess a letter, post it on the forum.
7. You must have submitted a correct letter to submit your solution. Unlike letters, if you submit a wrong solution, you are disqualified from continuing in that puzzle.
8. The player who correctly guesses the phrase wins the game. If no one has guessed it correctly after six misses, then the player with the most points wins the game.
9. Only 5 guesses allowed in total until the host updates the puzzle. Any guess after 5, before the next update, won't be counted as a guess. Of course, someone else has to guess before you can go again.
And here is what you win...you get to create the next puzzle. (Should you win the game, and do not care to host the next puzzle, you may pass your puzzle play to the member with the next highest points)

Oh, I´m SO sorry - I must admit I´m feeling a bit dumb this morning!! It´s so HOT here - I just had a nap with Neelix (both of us dozing in bed:o :) ), but that´s the kind of thing you pettalkers understand!!

Randi - you chose an E, and I revealed all the Es on the puzzle, but, sleepy/silly me, I wrote
7 As instead of 7 Es on the score :o

I´ll continue with the puzzle now (but no more napping, I promise!!), but first I want to contact with Randi to see if she agrees with this little mess!!

Here it is very very hot - I have AC at my flat, I had to switch it on this afternoon!! We are ALL trying to get some coolness from:

Uhhh, I'm not sure. Is that the tasty bread with tomato and garlic?? I LOVE it!! I had the best of those ever in "Piratas" Castelldefels! Also, do you know the round cakes rolled in pinenuts? Are they a speciality in Catalunia? Or can you get them all over spain? I think they're only for Easter?
I can't guess before the next update - it's not allowed to guess more than 5 after - and that is fine!! :D

This thread is getting quite tasty!! :D I´ll give my gazpacho recipe - try it at home, it´s great, cooling and healthy - I love it, I couldn´t survive without it here in the summer (I take a glass every day!! :eek: )I´ll post here a bit later - to let you all play in the meantime!! :)

Koxka, you couldn't get your letter, because there has to be an update after every 5 letter guessed, so any letter after the fifth doesn't count! It's a bit confusing the first time you play, but you'll get the hang of it! ;)

koxka...i used to live in laescala many moons ago....right on the water......there is a small resort that has a resteraunt that looks like a castle....thats' where the pool was...then the villas were up on the mountain....all white...sort of adobe looking....i'll try to find a picture.......what a beautiful area of spain....

Yes, I tried hard on the gazpacho, but even that was not enough to prevent me from making mistakes!! :o

Fuzzy317 sent me a guess, which was correct but for a letter on the author's name - which was actually my fault as I hadn't updated it properly, I mean, the letter should have been visible, but it wasn't, so that lead to error!!

Fuzzy317 has told me he's got a quote in mind, and that he wouldn't mind hosting the next puzzle! I hope you agree with this - but if you have something to say about this, please do!!!

The puzzle is:

For those who haven't been to Spain, this is the time to explain what
gazpacho is! It's a cold "soup" (but it's usually taken directly from a glass!) basically made of tomato. When it's hot hot summer, here in Andalucia, gazpacho is a MUST!! I'm posting here the recipe - I guess I'm better at the kitchen than hosting puzzles (well, I hope so!):
1 kilo of tomatoes (have to be peeled and have their seeds removed!)
1 cucumber
1 green pepper (not the hot ones!)
olive oil (up to 4-6 spoons)
some bread
garlic
vinegar
salt

Peel the tomatoes and have their seeds removed. Do the same with the cucumber and the pepper. You can add some garlic (no more than a clove) if you like it! Slice the ingredients so it's easier to blend them with the mixer!!
Add some bread (it's better if you soak it before,
but wring some of the water out before you add it to the mixture!). When it is all well mixed, add the oil, some salt and vinegar al gusto. Serve it chilled.
