You really should take your cat to the vet if you suspect a problem.

Has your cat done this before?

max has but never sebastian. max is a well pee bag he does this out of insecurity but sebastian never! We don't like vet trips because they always have to knock max out he's psycho. like i said we bouht new stuff. we're starting to think they were just protesting. i'm still worrried.:( max sebastian are my babies and i love them dearly.

Well...it could be a territory issue, and it could also be a health problem. How old are they? Maybe you could at least call your vet?

I've also heard of cats doing this if their litter box isn't cleaned often enough. I'm not saying you don't do that, but some cats are so peticular that you have to clean it more than once a day.

Hello Inkspot,

You might also want to consider trying a different type of kitty litter. I tried MANY different brands before I found one that my cat would tolerate (and even then I still clean it out every day).

Iuri, started peeing all over the house when he was about 4-5 yrs.old, even when the litter box was absolutely clean,he hadn't any health problen,so problably he was markging his territory. He was neutered and all the problem had gone.
