I am dying to post a pic of Rocky (my schip) and also my cats.
Still haven't figured out the whole digital camera thingy yet.
But I definitely will. My schip has bitten once....the carpet cleaning
guy....hmmmm

A lady at the dog park I go to has 5 of them!!  Cute little buggers!!! Actually, that is one of the breeds that the insurance company I work for won't insure your home if you have one...

Gee, I was surprised to hear about the non-insurance thing. The ones I have met were sweet and very active pups. So cute! They are also known as Belguim Barge dogs.:)

My parents had a number of Schipperkes -- the last of which MissC passed away last year. The had a male and female for a long time and when they would take those two cuties for a walk -- the comments! They probably had four or so over time.

They were VERY loyal dogs but I don't remember ever any problems with them biting. In fact poor MissC was terrified of my cat Edwina. I once found the two of them...MissC in the bathroom intently ignoring the cat looking up at the ceiling anywhere but at the cat -- who was guarding the door and refused to let MissC out!

Edwina so wanted to play with MissC (the ONLY dog she has ever tolerated) and would lay on her back and reach her front paws out for MissC's snout. MissC would beg my mother to pick her up onto her lap....
