So far tonight, I've put a new latch on Little Miss Rotten's(aka Tehya) pen gate. She's broken two so far! I lined it up right on my first try, didn't loose any screws and did not damage any fingers. My Dad would be stunned that I even know how to use a power drill. I won't tell him that I bought my very own drill set!
I fixed the door on the dog food storage shed--where Heyoka let himself in last night and had a little feast!
Then I went to put fresh water in all the dogs' tubs. Every pen has an old bathtub in it for drinking, swimming and generally making a mess in the summer. They need fresh water every few days or they become mosquito breeding ponds! Turn on the hose--NO water! The well is down. This has happened once before since Stuart's been gone, but his Dad was here at the time so he fixed it for me. I debated calling Bud(the FIL) to come over, but decided this couldn't be rocket science! So I climbed down the 8 foot hole to where the pressure tank and all the connections are. A few minutes later, Voila, Water and I got back out of the hole with no broken bones. Again, my Dad would be stunned. I don't do well on ladders and have a history of breaking bones doing the stupidest things! Heck, Stuart would probably be a little shocked!
And then I came inside, checked my email and found I sold one of my bead auctions! It was supposed to end tonight and I didn't think it was going to sell.
Oh, and Sundin let me pet him TWICE! It was his idea. I didn't have to corner him! (For those who don't know Sundin, that's a very big deal. He's extremely timid.)
Yah Me! I think this warrants breaking out the good tequila! (it doesn't take much to get out the tequila somedays! :p )
