Now Fern is not keeping her food down. I feed twice a day (not free fed) and for the past 2 days she has thrown up all her meals. And of course she is a very skittish girl so I can't just examine her or give her medicine etc. but she will need to see the vet if she won't keep something down soon. :( :(

OMG! When will it end?

Oh, no...your area isn't in the midst of a heat wave or something, is it? :(

Nope, unseasonably cool (and lovely)

Monte does this exact thing when he has a hairball that won't come up. But I can't be sure if that is Fern's problem. I can't catch her right now to give her any hairball remedy, either. :( (I hate to stress her out when she already desn;t feel well)

Oh Fern, come on little lady, let mom help you sweetie!

Wishing you well, Fern!

Hang in there, Jen!

((((Jen)))) Try not to worry. Hopefully it's just a hairball thing with Fern. You're just on edge right now with worry! Some of my kitties go through the barfing thing a few meals in a row when they have hairballs too! Give it another day or so, and maybe she'll be back to normal! ;)

Gosh... when it rains it pours.

I hope that Fern will start eating again! C'mon Fern... your mommy doesn't want you to get sick! You have to start keeping your food down!

I'm so sorry to hear this.:( I hope it's just a furball and that she'll start eating soon. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent her way.

Oh Jen, I'm sorry. I really hope it's just a hairball and will quickly pass.

Jazz has gone through spells like that for a couple of days. She never really coughs up the hairball so I'm certain what is causing her to throw up immedaitely after eating but it has never lasted more than a couple of days.

Prayers and positive thoughts on the way.

Oh no!! I really hope she will soon feel better and start eating again! Hope it's just a nasty hairball!

Well, let's not jump to anything here, but this morning she ate and kept it down. So, now lets see what happens tonight. (fingers crossed)

Oh yeah! I am so glad she kept her breakfast down. I hope she is feeling better this evening and will keep dinner down as well.

Jen... you are earning bigger and bigger angel wings with each one of these furbabies you take in! :)

It sure seems that in a multi cat home, when it rains, it pours!! And just when you think everything is OK, and new problem pops up!! Glad to hear that Fern has kept down her food!! Prayers for Fern and Jen!!!

She probably just wanted to let you know she wanted some more personal attention, lol. Poor Fern. She's just shy and didn't know how to tell you! :p ;)
