Hi group, I am still having problems with my guys spraying. I have heard of this product called Feliway, by comfort zone. Does it really work? It is quite expensive, so if it doesn't work I don't want to waste my money. Let me know what you think. God bless

We have used the Feliway Diffusers for a few years. I have 4 (former) male cats and 2 (former) females (all are fixed :) ) and I can say that I fully endorse the product. I can tell the difference with our cats when the diffusers are in use vs. when they aren't. It is quite pricey at pet stores and vet offices but

Is usually a bit less...

good luck!

I just started using it a few months ago and it's helped some what. My initial problem was peeing outside of the litterbox but now that I've added 3 more litterboxes it's stopped. I also use cat attract litter (http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?cm_ven=goo&cm_cat=adwords&cm_pla=unknown&cm_ite=sku&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023690&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302033556&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441779416&bmUID=1185338088776). You can either buy it online or at Petsmart. It's a bit pricey but you can also add it to your regular litter and this should also help.

Right now I'm still dealing with aggressive behavior from my alpha male cat Storm. The feliway plugins and spray help but not entirely. I do notice when the plugins are getting low because my cats seem to be more stressed out. I'd say that you should give it a try. Most pet stores will let you return them if they don't work. Good luck.:)

I've had good luck with Feliway. It doesn't stop all bad behavior but it does seem to curb it. One thing I've noticed is I have to stop using it after a couple of months because they seem to get used to it and it almost has an opposite effect on them. Usually after a month off it works again.

I buy my refills from this place. It's the cheapest I've found and shipping is reasonable.

i think its a really good product- we used it when we were moving house and we've had no problems- we had the spray to comfort them and the plug ins. it was really helpful.

Jazzcat - I went to that site and couldn't get the ingredients...as in percent of pheromone, ethylene alcohol, etc. Can you PM me or post here the ingredients on the label?

I want to compare it to what I get from my vet, as I pay about $70 there!

Mind you, I just do a squirt onto Oscar's collar, and the stuff lasts forever!

Thanks, Sandy! On the link you posted there are several different looking 75ml bottles...the least expensive one does not list the ingredients, even on the Amazon link, and it looks like the bottle on jazzcat's link.

I just don't want to order the least expensive one and find it is a weaker solution than the others, so I wondered what the ingredients were on the actual bottle JC has.

Picky I know - but when ordering online, I wanna know what I'm getting! :)
