How lovely you are!!!! How wonderful your parents are to have a special kitty like you!!!! I knew of an owner of a deaf cat that taught the cat sign language and the cat understood what she was signing!! Many happy years together! HAPPY COTD!!

Beebe,
I wish you didn't live so far away, you could play all night with my kitty Tilt. His sleep, play and yelling patterns are the same as yours. He is deaf, but wasn't born that way. He came from a place with 67 other cats and kittens. I did a rescue......I kept the four babies. They had multiple problems. Ear mites were one of them. The mothers exposure to parvo in her first 3 weeks of pregnancy was another. I lost 2 of the babies, but managed to get Tilt and his sister Georgine healthy enough to live. The vet told me the mites ate his ear drums. yuckkkkkk He also has cerebrial hypoplasis. He walks with a tilt to his head and is slew footed. That is from the exposure to parvo.
Good Luck, beautiful Beebe. Tell your Mom I think she is very lucky to have such a special furrbaby.

Happy COTD to you, Beebes! Cat treats and ear rubs to you on your special day! You are indeed beautiful! >^..^<
It's my understanding that cats with two blue eyes are completely deaf, but that those that have one eye of another color can hear out of the corresponding ear. So if Beebes has two different colored eyes, it's very likely she does have some hearing. I had a completely deaf cat myself years ago, and she seemed perfectly content and able to do all the necessary kitty cat things, so either way, I'm sure Beebes will be a very happy girl! :)

My Dear Mother had a white cat Missy who was white and deaf and so was never allowed out. she was easily our longest lived cat as she was never in danger of being hit by cars.
And its so nice to see sweet Little Beebes twice in photographs. Shes a precious little Cat and is a true pleasure to have as a Friend and Companion.
I know that a Cats as loving as Beebes is worth her weight in diamonds.

Beebes, what a beautiful girl you are--your pictures are just gorgeous! I had to smile when I read about the 'freeze' game you play with your family...I can just imagine you quietly stalking them when they are not looking, then suddenly freezing when they turn around to look at you :D You are just too funny! You are a very special girl, and not just because you are deaf. Congratulations on being Cat of the Day!

Exquisite, there's no better word to describe your delicate beauty, Beebes! And what a treat to have not just one but two lovely photos of you to savor! I must say Beebes, your coat and coloring are simply stunning! The second photo of you looking so pensive takes my brath away!
I had to laugh when I read of your nesting instincts!:D I can just imaigne you dragging that big, ol' jacket behind the TV! Well, every girl needs a quiet place to enjoy some private time, right?:D What a purrsonality! And though you may be deaf sweetheart, it's clear nothing can keep you from enjoying every moment of life to its fullest!
Congratulations beautiful Beebes! I hope you and your proud person enjoy a very happy, love filled Cat of the Day celebration! Hopefully your Mom will pass along some extra hugs and kisses to you, from me!:)
Oh, I would never be able to put you down. I would be loving on you every chance that I could get.
My very first kitty, Sugar, was all white with two beautiful blue eyes - and amazingly - was not deaf. The vet even said that he was and I responded from across the room - "no he's not" and called Sugar's name and his head whirled around to look at me. It was the end of that discussion.
You are beyond beautiful - and you sound like so much fun to live with.
I wish you the longest most healthy life with fun every single day.
