When we got home tonight there was a message on our answering machine from 5 of my 8th grade girls from last year. They found a dog tonight and asked us if we would take him. Mike, of course, said yes, and we'll see about finding his owners and if not rehoming him. They said he's got a collar and has been neutered and looks like he's just been groomed so I'm betting he's got a home somewhere. Wish us luck!

Thanks....I told the girls that they owed me big and their response was that they knew and they'd pay me back by coming to visit a lot!! lol Mike was rolling while he was listening to the message on the machine.

In these situations, being a sucker is definately a good thing. I'm Sucker Jr. when it comes to fostering animals :) (I still have 5 kittens to place!)

GOOD NEWS!! When I went over to my friend's house (her daughter is the one who called us last night) to pick up the dog, I met her at the vet's instead and they had just scanned him and he was chipped!!! We called the owner who was thrilled and Sue and Missy took him home to be reunited. I was so happy. Another happy ending!!
