Hello.....from my Iggy, "Mango", to you! And congrats on being POTD!
LaQuita has such beautiful markings! I am guess-timating you are roughly two years of age in this photo.
My Ig was also a rescue at age 1 and is now a healthly strapping HUGE 13 yr old! And what a handful! But we love him, and as you have found, they are such characters. :p

And what an amazing photo...though I can only imagine the look of surprise on your Mom's face when she came home and found you perched on that lamp!:eek: :D Bet the pups were more than bit "surprised" to find you scampering about, too! hehe Head for higher ground, always a good move!;)

Your Mom have not been quite up to speed on Iggy care when she rescued you Lizzy. but for sure she's done her homework since then! What a wonderful life she has provided for you, what with those deluxe digs! And that's quite the assortment of fun critter pals you have to enjoy, as well! Could life be any better?:D

LaQuita, how precious you are! I'm so glad to know that you've finally made yourself at home there, with all your furry and scaly friends, and that you are enjoying life to the fullest! I'm not sure I would drive nine hours for an iguana I knew nothing about, but your person obviously knew how special you were going to be and made the right decision to rescue you. What a pretty iguana darling you are, Lizzy! We used to have a handsome iggy boy, Fafner, and I loved watching him. Iguanas have the sweetest smiles! You look so healthy and lively, I'll bet you make life a great deal more interesting in your home! Congratulations on being our pet of the day!
