As promised in my previous thread, here are some pics taken today and yesterday of Mizz Tia Maria. She's been doing pretty well lately, the medication she's been on seems to have kept the swelling down on the tumour so we're hoping the infection has cleared up. I still haven't made a final decision, but I don't think we're going to remove the tumour. I don't want to risk her life under the anaesthetic, nor do I wish to put her through all that stress knowing full well that another is likely to grow back. I think I'm going to take the chance that the tumour may be a slow-grower.

On a lighter note, here are the pics:

In bed!

I couldn't resist adding the phrase, I'm sure that's what she's always thinking ;)

She's such a little poser, unlike the fidget-y gerbils!

I got her some special rodent popcorn as a treat for being a good girl when taking her nasty medicine. Here she is with a bowl fresh from the microwave.

Seeing as we had a sunny afternoon in Lancashire today after an atrocious month and a half of rain, cloud and wind, I took Tia outside for a sit in the garden. She just loves the sun on her back and the smells of the outdoors.

Love this shot, she looks really content.

I think she noticed something on the ground when I took this, lol.

There's a pic of her in my new siggie too, and there's some more to come in the next post.

Sitting on my lap.

Hee hee, she is SUCH a softy. :p

This is where the tumour is. It's not yet particularly visible unless you know it's there (hence I've circled it on the pic, you can just see a slight bulge).

Watchin' the world go by...

Wish I looked as good as her in close-ups!

I think everyone in the UK was glad to see that blue sky today, Tia was no exception!

And just time for a spot of sunbathing.

That's all everyone, hope you enjoyed!

The "I'm Gorgeous!" picture made me aww outload. =D I definately agree with her on that: She is gorgeous!
I wish my guys & girls could take a lesson from her, as they would greatly benefit!
It was nice to see your girl again. Good vibes still headed her way from me & my rattie clan.

Oh Miss Tia,

This is your one-eyed main squeeze, Winkie. To say you are ravishing and you take my breath away is only part of what I feel. Your brown markings make my heart race.

I send you my love from afar.

Love and kisses,

Tia sends her thanks to all, and special rattie kisses for her one and only darling, Winkie! :D And thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes, too, they seem to be working.

Holly, yes she certainly did love the popcorn. One cob, even though they look pretty small, makes an awful lot of popcorn, so the gerbils got a bit too. :) Because there's so much of it for just one little rat belly, I kept some in an airtight container and served it to Her Majesty for breakfast the following morning with a slight drizzle of acacia honey. ;)
