I am very glad that Bliki has such a caring home after all that health problems. It's so sad to hear such a beautiful creature is blind and cannot play as well as other cats. But he must be happy to have a loving family.

Bliki, tell your human to try giving you canned pumkin or squash to help your tummy troubles. If this works you will love your human even more. A higher fiber hairball food as a main diet also can help. My human did this for me and it cleared up my bowel troubles. :) Smokey ( alias Boo)

Back home, too tired from too much constant traveling to write anything, but did check Cat of the Day... and what a story!

I am deeply touched to learn not only of Bliki's will to survive but also to have fun and enjoy life, and am equally moved by the love and patience of the humans who give Bliki the support and care he needs under circumstances that many others would use as justification to remove a cat - obviously a wonderful, wonderful cat with every right to live - from this life.

I only wish that Iceland was on my intinerary of travels, so that I could look up Bliki and his caretakers and bring them some dried salmon from Alaska, a place with ice of its own.

Bliki, your story is so touching!
I can tell you a secret. Although Juni sees very well, sometimes after I throw the plaything, if she doesn't hear the sound, she stays in front of me, waitng for me to throw it for her. Then, I go and fetch the toy for her and throw it again.
May your life be full of love and "good smells"!

Bliki has captured my attention
I am in Love with my Tabby pt. siamese and think Bliki has even more of what I think is so beautiful about the shapings of these cats-nice large head long nose big big blue eyes
I know I just want so much to pick Bliki up and give him lots of snuggling as he sure looks like he is affectionate. I bet he curls up very cutely like mine does. I am happy the other cats treat him as if he is just another member of the family and I am sure he appreciates that too.
