MY smallest dog a pomeranian, Bella is going through her first teething, we have tried a cold rag in the freezer a nice cold carrot to chew on. Those are other suggestions made, but she doesnt really take enough interest in either of those to chew on them. Any suggestion are welcome. Thanxz

If you can, try ice cubes. If need to flavor them with broth and freeze.

Also during this time, wet the kibble down to keep the gum irritation, down. If your pet is uncomfortable, baby asprins. Check with your vet on the dosage.

The thing I've heard is good is to soak a dishtowel - or in a little dog's case a washcloth - in chicken broth and freeze that - that way, it's not only cold and soothing, but also tasty!

That, and of course, hide all shoes! :) One pup my family had chewed ONE each of every pair of shoes I had - I accidentally left the closet door open just enough for her to wedge her nose in ... she didn't seem to have a preference for left or right, but once she'd chewed one shoe of a pair, she left the other alone. Sigh.

awwwwwww! Bella is so cute! The flavored cloths are a wonderful idea. You can also gently play tug of war with her (if she likes playing). That's what I've done with all of my puppies and it helps.
