Since we are roughly (very roughly) following the route of Lewis & Clark, I thought I’d show off our two little explorers, Lewistina and Clark – better known as Robin & Cracker Jack.

Every place we stop, Clark needs to get out and explore. He usually starts out closer to home…

….but then starts straying further and further from home base.

Clark has discovered that the vantage point of a picnic table provides a good overall view. This way he can keep an eye on everything that’s going on around him.

Sometimes a rock has to suffice when there is no picnic table around.

And sometimes even meowmy’s lap will suffice.

Seeing as how an explorer discovers things, and Clark is no exception to the rule, here he is discovering a bunny rabbit.

And here he is discovering a new species – kids! (My Grand-niece...nephew’s daughter)

Sometimes conditions aren’t suitable for outdoor exploration, but that doesn’t stop Clark from being curious.

Lewistina is a little less adventurous than Clark, but she is curious also.

And she, too, discovered the new species – kids!

(blew me a way that Robi….errrr…..Lewistina allowed this new species to even get close to her!)

And of course, all this exploring tends to wear one out, and some serious relaxation is called for. (This is where Lewistina excels.)

That’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed the explorations of Lewistina & Clark.

Debbie, how wonderful to see you and Terry and your furkids....well, love that skinkid too (I used to be that cute!) :D I think it's so great that you get to take Clark out to relive his adventures and that Lewistina is just as cute as ever.

My meeting is being held up...they are waiting on me. I just poked my head in to say that "I just had to get an email out before attending". :) Little do they know that this is my email. Just had to get this down and see these wonderful pics before getting back to work.

Great to hear from you Debbie! I see Robin is still enjoying daddy's tummy. :D I was worried for a sec. but then saw CJ has a robe tied to him. They must enjoy exploring the nature so much. :) CJ is so sweet showing his soft tummy to us all - give him some rubs from me!

Love your new haircut, you look fabulous!!

Lewistina and Clark are on the same bed? Is this a new development? WHat will be next for our road warriors!!

Lewistina and Clark are without a doubt the cutest explorers ever to hit the open trails! With so many things to find and explore, they must be exhausted at the end of the day. And what exciting stories they must have. Groucho sends special purrs and headbumpies to his fellow kitties and can't wait to hear all about their adventures and discoveries.

Would you give your weary explorers plenty of scritchies and tummy rubs from me?

How adorable and what a wonderful life Robin and CJ have with you and Terry :D I too noticed TWO kitties on the SAME bed  Wow this is a wonderful thing!

I also have to comment that you and Terry look fabulous - this new lifestyle must be agreeing with you. Happy trails :)

Are you planning on any Pet Talk meetings during your travels?

Lewistina and Clark are on the same bed? Is this a new development?
No, it's not a new development, just one that doesn't happen very often. Let me point out one main intervention in this picture - Terry. And you'll notice that Lewistina is ON Terry - her protector, even though she protects herself quite well thank you very much! ;)

Usually when they're on the bed together, without that intervention, it eventually ends up in a spat - sometimes brought on by Clark, more often brought on by Lewistina.

Thanks so much everybody. :D

We're currently just North of Yellowstone National Park, then we're headed West to Oregon, then South to the Napa Valley area, then South to the LA area, then back over to the Tucson/Phoenix area for the winter again. Check out this thread if you want to follow our travels a little more closely. http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=129584

And Miss Lewistina is certainly looking quite content on daddy's tummy. I would love to have a tummy kitty like that!
