THIS CAME FROM MY FRIEND CAROL ANN IN TEXAS.

THEY PUT SOME BABY CHICKS IN WITH TIGER CUBS FIGURING THAT THIER SAVAGE NATURE WOULD TAKE OVER. INSTEAD THEY MADE FRIENDS.
THE ZOOKEEPER SAID I GUESS THERE ARE AT THE STAGE WHERE THERE ARE NO ENEMIES ONLY FRIENDS.
WOULD THAT WE COULD ALL BE LIKE THOSE TIGER CUBS.

That is so cute! :) I would have expected the tiger cubs would have had them for dinner, but they must be fed well.

Actually, it makes a cute pic but I wonder about the wisdom of such an experiment. It was a big gamble to get a cute photo.

Neither side has 'learned' to kill or run.

And - that is what triggers a lot of preying, think of our cats and their toys - once they are running away/moving across the floor, they're on the attack.

Good thing baby chicks can't run, and it doesn't even occur to them to do so.

Makes me think of that pic I saw here of tiger cubs and orangutan babies. SO sweet...but they'll have to be separated at some point.

Sweet pic, Gary. :)

That What Was The Zoo Keepers Wanted For The Tiger Cubs To Go Wild And Devour Those Chicks. But Try As They Could The Young Tigers Were More Interested In Playing That Hunting.
The Instinct To Hunt Generally Comes From The Momma Cat.
